GENTLE YOGA FLOW - Every Wednesday 6.15pm (arrive from 6pm)
Edmund Kell Unitarian Church, Bellevue Road, Southampton SO15 2AY
An Ancient Practice to Benefit a Modern Age.
Yoga is an amazing and deeply nourishing approach, that creates the space within us to feel present and peaceful with whom we are, gives rise to our highest potential and enhances our relationship with the world. It simply relaxes us into life.
This particular practice of yoga is based on a flow of postures, movement and meditation to open, energise and relax. The emphasis is to explore the feeling of movement and stretch within body, in harmony with the natural rhythm of the breath. This blend of feeling, movement and breath (the voice of our movement), deepens our awareness, begins to create ease within the body, and calms the mind in a gradual and personal way.
Awakens, strengthens & tones muscles. Increases flexibility around the joints. Expands our awareness to the natural flow of energy within us. Great for dissolving everyday stress and tension. Enhances your physical and mental wellbeing. Stimulates creative and clear thought. Brings Holistic Health.
This practice of Yoga is a uniquely personal experience, accessible and effective for everyone, regardless of physical ability, experience, religion or race.
