’Film Forum’ is dedicated to showing and appreciation of short films (and the odd longer one). Come along and experience a variety of local, national and international film – from the quirky to the incredible, from the cerebral to the beautifully simple. Besides the screening and the appreciation of short films the motivation behind the evening is to provide a forum for people who are interested in making as well as watching films, to meet. Interested people arrive at 7pm. They pay £2 for admittance to the cafe and gather expectantly in the basement. They are offered Popcorn and other tasty hot & cold snacks, all at extremely good prices. After a chance to meet each other the evenings of short film screenings and open discussion begins. Films are screened through high definition digital projection, and enjoyed in a friendly atmosphere. A warm welcome is extended to all however we advise booking in advance since space is limited.
