A chance to Meditate, Contemplate or just Chill Out to the Ancient & Healing Sounds of the Didgeridoo, with Matt Cross.
The indigenous Australian Yidaki or Didgeridoo is possibly one of the oldest wind instruments in the world, traditionally used by the Aboriginal people of Australia in sacred ceremonies, story telling, musical pleasure and healing.
The Didge, when played, creates a calm, relaxed yet energised state for both the player and the listener and has the capacity to awaken deep feelings within us, which are both soothing and healing.
During the session Matt uses a combination of the Didgeridoo, Shamanic Drum, Singing Bowl and other natural percussive sounds.
These are some words that people have used to describe there experience of hearing didgeridoo sounds: deeply touching, awe inspiring, magical, powerful, primal, mesmerizing, calming, enchanting, soothing, mystical, relaxing, earthy
We will provide some cushions and mats for the floor space however please bring your own cushions, floor mats and blankets to suit your requirements and wear comfortable warm clothing as you may cool down as you relax. Upright seats are also available if required. Tea & biscuits will be available before and after the session.
